Blythe's night of no sleep

hello~!

My singing was finally recognized as a talent! All of a sudden, we were whisked away by a young major (thanks to Ziggy's secret flirtatious behaivour). His mansion was incredible! There was a huge room with a grand piano in it. I spent some time writing a new song. Tell me what you think, alright?

Days pass by and the colors fade,
My lonesome eyes are cast in distant shade
I love the sound of my feet on the ground
As the leaves crunch beneath

My eyes are full of tears
passing through the years
I remember everything,
I can't forget

Won't you come,
Come and tell me
why you're so unreasonable today?
Won't you come,
Come and tell me,
Why you're so far away?

the leaves are gone and the ground is cold with ice
I look away as I see the coming night
My heart is pounding
One last tear I will cry
So leave me be because I won't say goodbye

Won't you come,
Come and tell me why you're so distant today?
Won't you come,
Come and tell me why you're hidden away?

Won't you come,
Won't you come and say goodbye?

Please ask me before using my lyrics, thank you!

Eventually I went to sleep. All that singing wore me out. But, as soon as I got to my room, I found Maria sitting on my bed. This had to mean that something was good for gossip.
"So guess what I saw!" Maria said. I asked her to get off my bed and let me go to sleep. She said not until I heard the whole story. So she told me what happened between the Major and Ziggy. it was no surprise. He seems like he'd never been in love, and we all know Ziggy wouldn't have time for love, unless it was serious. maria just kept blabbing away at me until she found my song sheet. Then, she made me teach her the song. By the time we were through, Both of us were asleep in my bed! God, I could have killed her, I swear. I just wanted to have a good night's sleep, thinking about the man I love and his distant return, and Maria had to get in the way. But I guess it's better to live in the real world with your friends then hope for something that is so far away...

Well, I hope you slept better than I did!

love,
Blythe
