Sigismunda's first step

Dear friends,

I've been a little bit softer for the past few days. We were transported into another world full of skyscrapers and flashing signs. We needed some money, so we decided to play a song. Maria and Blythe sang, while Neige played guitar and I played violin. Blythe and Maria have such different voices. Blythe has such a soulful jazz-voice, while Maria has the voice of an idol. They sound really nice together. We made enough money to live on for a whole week! It was incredible! I'm so exhausted from playing for so long, so I need to rest now. Tomorrow we look for the sapphire. I don't think I'm going to wake up at 5:00 tomorrow morning to practice judo and karate. I'm much too tired.

Ziggy

Neige's first step

Hey!

So we're searching for this Sapphire with a name! How weird is that? My guardian spirit, Alice, told me that I would always have to stay behind my sister this entire journey. What a pain! I never listen to anything anyone says! But this time, I decided to take Alice's advice. I know that Ziggy really wants me to be safe, and I know that Blythe wants me to be safe, too, so I'll listen, but only this once. I'm kinda glad I've got a sister! And I'm kinda glad that I've got Blythe, too.
So, Blythe decided that we should play a concert in the street. I was all for it. You should know that by now. We played a cheezy song that blythe wrote. It's a love song called "Searching with Vanity." I played, anyway. I wanted to play a really long guitar solo, but it was a slow song, so I couldn't. Ziggy played a violin solo, though. She doesn't usually play the violin around other people, so it was pretty cool to hear her play. She is really amazing.

So, in the end, we made enough money to eat and get a place to stay.

That's all for now, folkies!

Neige

Blythe's first step

Hello everyone,

Today is the day I take my first step. It's time for all of my friends and I to get together and find the sapphire! Anita told me that we have to travel to a new dimension first. I asked her how would one go about doing that, and she told me that she would be my guide. The next thing I knew, We were in a huge city. All of us were starving, so we decided to try and make some money. We put a band together on the street. Neige took her guitar out, Maria and I began to sing, and Sigismunda played her violin. You wouldn't know it, but she is a very good musician.

I wrote the song that we played. These are the words:

Endlessly searching
for a love that was so strong
I found a motive
To turn my heart around

Endlessly searching
for a pain that was too strong
I'll cry forever
when my loved one is gone

And when the lamppost
turns to light
And when the stars fall
out of the sky
I have to say
We must find the day

What is this endless night that's fallen on my cold, lonely heart?
My mind is such a cruel thing and it tears me apart
I am alone now
I am alone
Wandering through the days
Wafting alone
An expired melody

Endlessly looking
For a face I recognise
Endlessly waiting
for those two grey eyes

Waiting for something
That will bring me back again
I'll cry forever
When my loved one is gone

And when the dreamers
retreat back home
Into their basements
I have to say
Don't leave me alone!

What is this endless night that's fallen on my cold, lonely heart?
My mind is such a cruel thing and it tears me apart
I am alone now
I am alone
Wandering through the days
Wafting alone
An expired melody

I hope you like our song! The crowds did! Please don't use it without our permission!

Love,
Blythe

Maria's response

Hey you!

This is Maria here! So I was talking to Blythe during lunch today (we always take our lunches together) and she told me that we've become priestesses! And she's the head priestess! I told her that was no fair >.< Blythe told me she knew it was her duty, but she wasn't quite sure what she should do about it. She knows that she's the oldest and the most mature, but she's not sure she could take this on. I told her that she could do it hands down. Then, she said that she had to go practice her signing. She jut came up with a new tune and she had to go work it out. I told her that I'd be there in a sec, because I was still eating. As I was eating, a sprite came up tome. She looked like my identical twin, except everything she wore was goth! her hair was black and she had red lipstick on. Her dress and shoes were also red and black! She told me that she was my guardian spirit and if I need anything to just shout. And then she went away.

Will you help me find the sapphire?

love and kisses,
Maria

Neige's response

Hey,

Sigismunda and Blythe just interrupted my latest song! I could believe them! And they told me the craziest thing: I'm now in charge of the fate of the world. but that's not the weirdest thing, no. The weirdest thing has got to be that Blythe, of all people, is the leader of us! How could the fate of the world rest on her? Well, I just said, "you do that," and kept on playing. Then, when they had left the room, a little girl with wings came flying right in my face! She had big eyes and her face resembled the face of a baby fawn. She really freaked me out, but it turned out she was just a sassy little thing. She asked me what I was looking at and I just said, "you." She took a really big sigh and told me, "Look here, if you're going to protect this world, you need to whip into shape, You're almost fourteen, you know." I told her that I do know. She told me that I'd never learn anything. i said, "Oh yeah? So teach me something!" She said that she was my guardian spirit.

Sigismunda's response

Dear readers,

Blythe said that I was the first one she would tell. Apparently, we have somehow become the protectresses of the world. Our first job is to find a sapphire called Mirage, which is kept now by a nymph, Leumiad. I told Blythe that I would stand in the lead to protect everyone, but Blythe said it was her job. I told her that I would be right behind her. I prepared for the trip by hiding some weapons in my shoes. Then, I sat down to meditate. As I was meditating, a sprite came to me. She had flaming locks of hair and she was my size. She told me her name was Jean and that she was my protective spirit. She said that for my fourteenth birthday, she would give me something special. I told her that I didn't need gifts, but she said that I would come to need this one. I told her that she shouldn't hesitate then, and she told me that I would get it when I needed it. Then, she disappeared. I continued my meditation, and then went to find Neige.

Thank you for reaing,
Sigismunda

Blythe's latest blog

Hello everyone,

Today is the rainiest day of the year. I always spend this day reading. today, though, my thoughts are taunting me. I feel like they're roaming around the room. I saw the strangest thing. A young girl came, nearly translucent, and flew down to my bed side. She told me I had a strange future ahead of me, and that I would have to be a leader. She told me I was a priestess and that I would have to search for her mistress, Luna. Apparently, Luna had gone missing, and the fate of the world was resting in her sacred messenger's hands. When her messenger received a message to come talk to me, that is. The messenger, Anita, told me that I would have to take Luna's place until she returned. Now, the ate of the world rests on me. I have to go gathe rup my friends so that we can keep our world safe.

Maria's journal

Hi you!

^ <> ^ My name is Maria and I'm the new girl. I love to dress up and I always do. Since I just showed up, I don't have too many clothes yet >.< I want to be an idol. That's my biggest dream. I love Eriko Tamura, Rie Fujiwara, Naoko Kawai, Yu Hayami, Akina Nakamori and Wink. I love to dance and I love to sing, but most of all, I love to be the center of attention! It's hard to do that here, though, because nobody knows me yet. Everybody seems so serious. There's a girl named Blythe who never talks and likes to sit alone. Sometimes I think I see her crying. I want to go and help her, but I just don't have the courage, I guess. Then, there are twins, Neige and Sigismunda. Sigismunda is a serious martial artist, but she can be fun to hang out with. neige likes yoga, so we take classes together. Neige teases me for being so girly, but she's really just kidding. She says my songs are garbage and that I don't sing about anything important, but I told her that finding love is important. Neige says that I've got to be kidding and that Blythe tells her that all the time. I told her that she better listen to us, or she'll regret it. I Can also be a couch potato. I love old movies! My favorites are the comedies. I love Gentlemen prefer Blondes, Ninotchka, Bringing up Baby, and The Philadelphia Story. I love Marylin Monroe! she's so pretty and she's a great actress.

Well, that's all for now! Bye bye!

Love,
Maria

Sigismunda's Journal

Acquaintances,

I'm Sigismunda. I come from a long line of martial artists that descends from ninjas. My journey is serious and my will is strong. I must protect my loved ones. I was recently reunited with my lost sister, Neige. She and I are so similar in some ways, and yet so different. Neige is so Angry, but if she could harness her anger, she could use it to protect those she loves. She has one more problem: Neige does not understand love. She seems so much like a child. She has been pampered and lives a spoiled life. We may be the same age, but I see the world through the eyes of an adult. Neige does have one strength, which is that she can express her deepest emotions through music. She is a fantastic musician. I can feel her rage and her despair when she sings. She is longing for her adulthood. Her path will be so long. She says she won't protect anyone, but she always tries her best to protect her friends. I won't have her protecting me, though. Nobody protects me. I'm alone and I will be that way forever. No one can see my heart. Sometimes I like to fool around. I am only thirteen, after all. I like running around in my uniform, pretending I'm a klutz. This is also a defense mechanism that I use so that no one knows how strong I really am. I like to show my smile when I can. Even though I like to look strong, I love dressing up in cute outfits. My mom doesn't want me to look too cute, because she knows I have a job: I must protect Neige and all her friends.

Thank you for reading,
Sigismunda

Neige's blog

Hey everybody!

I'm Neige and all I want to do is start a band. I don't like dressing up, but my mom makes me. I like to spend time teasing my best friend, Blythe. Blythe is a total weirdo. She's always going on and on about all these dramatic, romantic thoughts of hers. She's real soft, so I like to make fun of that. I want to be strong and I want everyone to know that I am! I can play piano, guitar and drums! I want everybody to know I'm the best, but sometimes I don't feel that way. That's why I rock out. I need to know that I have passion in me. That's what really gets me about Blythe. She has all the passion in the world, but can't be tough. I think that you have to show the world your tough side, so I try my best to write great songs. I preform on all my tracks, because I don't have a backup band. I AM my band. Blythe says I need to find the love inside of me. I say she came from no place and just ended up here to torture me. She says that she was here first. My favorite band is T. Rex. My favorite political rock song is My Brain is Hanging Upside Down by the Ramones. My favorite love song is To Tender to Touch by lene Lovich. My second favorite love song is All My Love by led Zepplin. My favorite jazz song is Tenderly. I really like Sarah Vaughn. My favorite motown song is I Was Made to Love Her by Stevie Wonder. My favorite song of all time is Five Years by David Bowie. The song I listen to when I'm sad that I love more than anything in the world is Golden Hair by Syd Barrett.

Thanks for stopping by! Come back next time!

Dear readers,

My name is Blythe and this is my story. I am a romantic singer, trapped in a little girl's body. My lover is so far away, so I cry every day, all day long. I hide my tears from others, so no one ever sees me cry. I love to paint, so I paint myself with my love all the time. My favorite song is Clover, the song from the anime of Clover by CLAMP. My second favorite song is India Song by Jeanne Moreau. I love Yayoi Kusama's installation art and Mariko Mori's, too. My favorite painter is John Singer Seargent. Thank you for caring about me!
